Fermented foods are full of bacteria. Wait, what?! I know, we tend to look at bacteria as a bad thing. But not all bacteria are bad!

Fermented foods are full of good bacteria. Kind of like the bacteria we get when we take probiotic supplements, but better!

Benefits of Fermented Foods

Our gut NEEDS bacteria to function properly. Also the bacteria in fermented foods helps us to digest our foods, absorb the nutrients in our foods, as well as help to strengthen the immune system.

So fermented foods are not only helpful, but necessary for a healthy life!
