The work is expected to be his final tune-up before the Grade 2 True North, in which the Steve Asmussen trainee is entered to race Saturday.

Grade 1 winner Exaulted, unraced since a second-place finish in the Del Mar Mile (G2) in September, drilled a four-furlong bullet Monday. The Peter Eurton trainee went four furlongs in 47.4 seconds, fastest of 16 over the all-weather training track at Santa Anita.
